For 20 years the Maryland Budgerigar Society (MBS) has been the keystone organization for serious breeders and exhibitors of English and American Budgies, as well as for hobby breeders, in the Maryland/Virginia area. We are proud to be affiliated with the American Budgerigar Society (ABS).

• Our meetings are held from September through May on the second Sunday of the month with location and directions of meeting in our monthly newsletter. Meetings usually include delightful and informative videos of master breeders from around the world. Club members also commonly bring several birds to each meeting for educational purposes and mini-shows.

• Our Annual Budgerigar Show is ABS (American Budgerigar Society) affiliated. This show attracts exibitors from North Carolina to New York, and features a Rare Colors Show in conjuction with the regular show.

• Our members often have birds and breeding stock for sale. Please see our Membership List for names and e-mail addresses.

• Visit our selected "Site of the Month". Each month we provide a link to a site that we found to be either informative, fun, or interesting. We invite our members to send us their selections for upcoming months as well.
